Abadi Villa Experience

Staying at Abadi Villas is like a 5 star hotel experience without having to share anything with the many other guests – no lining up to check in and out, no lining up for the buffet breakfast, no need to organize your schedule around inflexible room cleaning, no need to reserve sun beds, no need to avoid noisy families at the pool - Your pool never closes !!  All Abadi villas superior facilities and personalized services are there for only you.
On leaving Bali airport immigration you will be met and driven the 20 minutes to Abadi Villas in up-market Seminyak.  Abadi Villas’ manager will be waiting to usher you immediately into your villa where in the rattan lounges under the intricate handmade 11 meter high conical grass thatched roof, the check-in formalities and orientation will be quickly completed. 

You can determine how much privacy you wish. Usually the villas are serviced four times daily - during your breakfast your bedroom and bathroom will be tidied. While you are out and about or when you permit, the villa butlers will efficiently complete daily full cleaning and villa maintenance. If you wish, your used clothes can be taken for complementary cleaning and ironing.  Again at dusk the villa will be quickly tidied and mosquito coils set out.  And finally while you are having a delicious in-villa dinner or out to the many excellent local restaurants, the butlers will set up your bedrooms and bathrooms ready for a good night’s sleep.  Of course Abadi staff are available 24 hours for any other requests. You are assured complete security, privacy and calm.

All areas of Abadi villas were upgraded in April 2010. The Villas are located in a quiet street immediately behind the busy restaurant district of Seminyak. The villas are surrounded by high privacy walls with a solid 3 meter timber and stone gateway.  Both villas feature large sunny private swimming pools (Villa 1 - 10m x 6m and Villa 2 - 8m x 4.5m) with comfortable sun beds for each guest for working on that essential holiday tan. You can relax the afternoon away in the cushioned shady bale (garden pavilion) where you might decide to enjoy a massage or just read a book. For more relaxation, head upstairs to the entertainment mezzanine level.  A comfortable lounge sofa is there to put you feet up to read a book, have a snooze or enjoy cable TV or a DVD on the 50” flat screen TV and home theater system.

There is a comfortable roomy main lounge and dining area with a new kitchen/bar for relaxed but sophisticated dining and entertaining.  An integrated high quality stereo system feeds music to the dining room and bar, lounge area and out to the pool. Don’t forget your favorite CDs or iPod. Your chef is available to organize a full range of food from snacks to a formal sit down multi course dinner.  A restaurant style in-villa dining menu can help with choice but chef is available to meet all your requests. Try a special al fresco meal next to the pool. To find the right local restaurant, chef can recommend and book a suitable local choice. Your Abadi staff can also assist in arranging tours, transport, taxis, an in-villa massage and spa.

Each bedroom has modern designer décor, king sized beds, air-conditioning, flat screened TVs, dimmable lights, black out curtains, large wardrobes and generous bathrooms. The bedrooms and lounge all have telephones to contact staff or make international calls. The mobile phone signal is strong and complementary wireless internet is available in all areas of the villas. 

Villa Bedroom

Abadi Villa’s welcoming brand new designer bedrooms feature air conditioning, king beds with fresh linen and 32” flat screen TVs.  There is generous wardrobe space with all, except for the garden room, having adjoining dressing rooms. No two bedrooms adjoin.

This with the floor length black out curtains allows for complete privacy, easy rest and luxurious sleep-ins.  The ensuite bathrooms are huge with double wash basins and mirrors, oversized step-in baths and rain water showers.

Abadi Villas’ air-conditioned modern bedrooms are furnished with 2m X 2m king sized beds fitted with fresh cotton linen and deep pillows. The bedrooms are finished with contemporary furnishings and décor balanced by original Balinese art works. Through the panoramic windows, every bedroom looks out onto the villa’s private pool and garden.  You can relax on the large bed to view an extensive choice of multilingual cable news, sports and entertainment channels on the 32” flat screen television with DVD player.  Bedrooms have generous walk-in or walk-through dressing rooms (Garden bedroom excepted) allowing convenient private dressing area and ample storage of clothes and personal items. You can fully unpack and feel completely at home. Each room has a complimentary safety box.

Each bedroom has a generous contemporary bathroom featuring acid washed marble floors, double vanity basins, raindrop showers and huge step-in baths. The baths are perfect for taking a long soak after a long flight or strenuous day sightseeing and shopping. Two of the bathrooms also feature outdoor showers and internal gardens offering the complete Bali experience.

Abadi Villas are set back from the road along a 100 meter easement access. Although you are only minutes away from the bustle of Seminyak, the villas are remarkably calm and serene. No two bedrooms adjoin allowing complete privacy -  wall to wall, floor length black-out curtains complete the relaxing environment allowing for a luxurious sleep-in.

As you enjoy a complimentary American breakfast at your convenience, your bedroom will be tidied. If required, your used clothes will be removed for complementary laundry. A full service will be performed latter in the day while you lounge around your villa’s private pool or enjoy the sights and delights of Bali. In the early evening the staff will again tidy the villa. Finally a turn-down service readies your bedroom while you enjoy dinner prepared by your personal chef or a meal at the many excellent local restaurants.

Each bedroom has complementary wireless internet access and a telephone extension with international dialing.

Abadi Villas Entertainments

Bali has many great things to see and do - from beautiful beaches to spiritual rainforest mountain retreats; world renowned spas and yoga schools to lively bars and night clubs; fine dining to inexpensive beach side warungs offering delicious local foods; gymnasiums,  golf courses, beach horse riding, kite surfing and conference facilities -  the list continues. So it is surprising that many guests at Abadi villas opt to spend much of their days and nights just relaxing in the villas enjoying the range in in-villa entertainments. 

They are enticed by the high level of villa facilities and services particularly the sunny large pools (Villa 1 at 10 X 6.5 meters – Villa 2 at 8 X 5 meters) with generous gardens and lawn spaces.  Abadi Villas’ pools are edged with timber decking and enough comfortable sun beds for all guests.  The pools extend out directly from the roofed living areas of the villas. Just for fun, the villa 1 pool also has a semicircular sitting nook inside the covered lounge area. Next to each pool is a 9 square meter covered bale (garden pavilion) ideal for a massage or to lay back and relax.  The main sound system can be selected for the lounge, dining areas and the pool/ bale.

On your holiday you cannot miss experiencing a famous Balinese’s massage and spa. The beautiful and peaceful villa ambience perfectly complements an in-villa relaxing massage. You can choose your own back ground music at just the right volume with no interruptions. Abadi staff can arrange an experienced masseur to come into the villa for a private personal massage and spa treatment - heaven!!

Under the 11 meter conical grass roof of the main villa building can be found the mezzanine level entertainment lounge.  This area has been specifically designed and fitted out for relaxation and a range of entertainments.  A wide soft sofa with day bed is set up to enjoy the 50” LCD television and high quality home theatre.  An extensive complementary DVD collection is right there.  The TV has complementary cable access with 65 channels of multilingual news, sports, movies, children’s and adolescent’s channels.  The entertainment lounge is also a great place to lay back with a good book, “surf the net” on the complementary Wi-Fi, or play a board game and cards - an ideal spot on a rainy day or for the kids to hang out. If a bit of privacy is desired every bedroom has also a flat screen TV with DVD and full cable access.

Many guests remark on the high quality and presentation of meals at Abadi Villas. A full range of meals from snacks (available 24 hours) to full five course sit-down dinners are available. Your personal chef can advise on a specific meal or select individual dishes from the variety of choices and daily specials from the Abadi Villa dining menu.  Refreshments, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are available from the ample in-villa mini-bar or just ring the butlers and they will deliver a cool drink to you next to the pool.  Abadi Villas is also an ideal place for a special dinner, birthday or cocktail party or other function.  Around the pool, formal or casual, buffet or sit-down, Abadi staff have years of experience in designing, organizing and delivering a first class event.

Villa Location

Only 20 minute from the international airport, Abadi Villas are located in a quiet area of up market Seminyak, Bali. The villas are remarkably calm and serene being set back from the access road. A 4-5 minute stroll will bring you to the renowned Seminyak “Eat Street” where many local and world class restaurants will satisfy.

A short two minute taxi ride away is the world famous Ku De Ta restaurant with its magnificent beach location. Exclusive Balinese boutiques and home design shops crowd the nearby streets with the exciting nightlife and clubs of Seminyak close enough for easy access but far enough away to not disturb.

Abadi Villas feature opening living spaces and large gardens with private pools. Although both villas have similar style, décor and facilities each has a particular character and charm.

Villa 1 at 600 square meters and 3 bedrooms is roomier with an emphasis on original Balinese art works ranging from modernist paintings to traditional stone and wood garden sculptures. 

Villa 2 at 400 square meters and 2 bedrooms features a wide variety of tropical plants and shady living spaces that is unmistakably Bali.

Abadi Villa 1 Gallery

“ART AND SPACE” - Walk through the 3 meter timber and stone portal, across the formal pond and water feature and you arrive in the absolute privacy of Abadi Villa 1. This 600 square meter villa and gardens with 3 air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms is an oasis of calm and serenity away from the bustle of Bali. The open plan living areas and tropical gardens with their mix of modern and tradition Balinese artwork are unmistakably “Bali”. Deciding where to relax, beside the large private pool, in the garden pavilion or the mezzanine entertainment area is a difficult choice.

Abadi Villa 2

“COOL AND BOTANICAL”  -  Walk through the 3 meter high timber and stone portal through the tangle of thick tropical foliage brings you to Abadi Villa 2. This 400 square meter villa and gardens has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms. Appreciate the wide range of tropical plants in the lush gardens.  There are giant leafed ferns, 20 meter palms and a fun mix in the “spiky” plant garden.  (Look for pineapples ripening). Relax in the open plan living areas and gaze out onto these private gardens onto the large sunny pool. The gentle murmur of the traditional Hindu water feature standing erect under the glass roof, in front of the hanging fern garden confirms you are in Bali, the island of the gods.
